SCHMETZ PROFESSIONAL INDUSTRIAL NEEDLES

Schmetz regular straight stitch needles feature a sharper tip and can be used on a variety of applications. Its sharp yet slightly rounded tip makes these needles ideal for both knit and woven fabrics.

An SUK Schmetz needle is considered a medium ball point needle, and is more rounded than an SES needle. It is recommended for medium-to-dense woven materials like denim and other coarse knits. Schmetz medium ball point straight stitch needles prevent cutting of fabric, snagging and large pin holes.

An SES Schmetz needle is considered a light ball point needle. It is slightly more pointed than a SUK needle and is recommended for light-to-medium knits, medium woven fabrics, and jersey materials. Schmetz ball point straight stitch needles feature a more rounded tip and prevent cutting of fabric, snagging and large pin holes (good for knits).
