You can easily mark 1/4″ from both edges for a mortise or tenon, or flip it around to the 3/8″ leg and quickly find the center. The DelVe Squares base wraps around your workpiece making it simple to mark both the face and edge at the same time.

These are not just simply squares. In addition to the 45 and 90 edges, angles are graduated along the hypotenuse in 5 increments. Has additional graduations for octagonal layout at 22.5 and 67.5.
