Aurifils 28wt cotton thread is produced in all 270 colours, and is wound on a grey spool. It is the second heaviest weight thread Aurifil offers, and is perfect for double strand cross stitch, blanket stitch, hand appliqu, hand piecing, hand quilting, bobbin and machine lace, machine quilting, machine embroidery, lower looper serging, and textured longarm quilting.

Recommended Needles:

• Domestic Machines: Size 90/14 Topstitch, Quilting, or Denim Needle (50wt in the bobbin)
• Longarm: 4.0 (40wt in the bobbin)

Tips:

• Go a little slower than normal while using in a longarm machine, especially around curves.
