How to use a benchtop planer?
Set the desired thickness, feed the wood with the grain, and let the planer remove thin layers until you reach the target thickness. Always support long boards and take shallow passes for the best results.

Do I need a planer if I already have a jointer?
Yes, a jointer flattens one face and squares an edge, but a planer is needed to make the opposite face parallel and achieve a consistent thickness across the whole board. Together, they produce flat, square, and uniform lumber.

Warranty Information

Oliver Machinery warrants its products to the original customer as free from defects for a period of two years on parts and 1 year for the electronics and motor.
